Next year of my life!

Okay this blog will list the goals that I want to accomplish over the next year(s) of my life. I realize that we are in a weak economy, and it will take every bit of a competitive edge to achieve my dreams! If you want to see a detailed explanation as to how I am trying to achieve my goals please visit the NEW blog titled, "The 10 year plan."

Anyways, here hopefully the goals that I am going to achieve over these next months of my life. The list:

- Find a job whether that be a day job or a corporate job. The next couple of months should be grueling.

- The first draft and editing of my novel should be done this month of June.

- Lose the college weight that I have gained over these years.

- Start studying for my GREs.

Simple and Clean towards Idealism

Alright, I can't go to sleep so I was listening to the song simple and clean tonight. Have fun listening to the song as you read this blog entry. Anyways, here is the song:

Anyways, this song is in regards towards the things that are simple and clean in our lives. As I view and I find that many people want to escape life by either making it simple and/or clean through a fantasy world they find that they are trapped in a reality that is inescapable.. This assumption is proposed through the amount of entertainment the people consume. Entertainment can come in a form of books, music, television and movies all providing a way for the mind too relax and escape the world.

Though ruefully we can't escape the world around us, it can be suggested that we can help each other out in a manner that not only makes a simple and clean world; but also creates a world in peace. How can we do such a thing?

I would like to note that as a society we have become a society of people who has done more talking than more doing. I hope to use that talents and goals to help those less fortunate people and hopefully create a simple and clean world.

Idealism may be dead, but so is the hope for realism. As we look around the world, we "realistically" hope for the world to become better as if "our words" would do anything to solve the problems around us. It is interesting to note that people who play their goals "realistically" tend to hope for things to come rather than things that can come. These people who play it realistically find that they are playing it safe in an unsafe world. It can philosiphically sound that when we are unsure of things in the world around us; we tend to shy away from things that we do not understand. And when we do not understand many of us tends to shy from idealims when in fact it has been idealism that we should of leaned towards for a better future.

When people create their own paths by not conforming to society they will find that their lives are not only better, but the lives around them are also better. Serving those of others needs should come of no small task, but it is the task that will reap the best rewards.

I hope in the years to come that I can use my goals and talents to help people in hopes to create a simple and clean world!

Goals

Okay here is my first posting for that of goals. Here is what I hope to achieve in the next 5 to 10 years. I hope that I can concentrate on the things that are important.

1. Finish the two novels that I am working on.
2. Receive my degree in communications.
3. Have a job.
4. Have my own place.
5. Start saving money to make my next move.

Over the course of the next years, I hope to use this portion of this blog to tract my progress towards these goals. As I have achieved these goals, I hope to create new goals for myself.
